LiPo packs should be charged with a charger specifically designed for lithium polymer batteries and should never be left unattended while charging. Balance charging is especially useful because it helps keep the individual cells at appropriate voltage levels. Batteries should also be inspected regularly for swelling, damaged wires, punctures, or other signs of physical damage. When the battery is not being used, following the manufacturer’s recommended storage charge and keeping the pack in a suitable location can help maintain its condition and reduce safety risks.
